The one inch square faceted citrine pendant is in a silver plated setting and a 1/4 inch bail. The rest of the necklace is wire strung. A wire strung necklace is made by putting a just few beads on short thick pieces of wire, and then these beaded sections are strung together using small metal rings. On this necklace I have used two rings between each section. This adds not only to the strength of the necklace, but it gives the necklace a more intricate look.
The beads used in the necklace are pink watermelon stone, green peridot, yellow citrine, clear quartz all natural shaped, with extra small white Miyuki Delica seed beads. This necklace is 20 inches long, with a three inch extension chain and a lobster style clasp.
The matching earrings start with a pink watermelon bead, a green peridot bead and a clear quartz bead (all natural shaped) at the top of the earring with a 1/2 inch silver ring hanging from it. Dangling from the ring is a natural shaped pink watermelon stone, a small yellow jade bead, and a bi-cone green glass bead. The earring is a 1/2 inch wide and 1 3/4 inch long, plus the length of the surgical steel fish hook style earring wire (about 3/4 of an inch).
Almost all of my necklaces can be shortened and some can be lengthened. I can always add an extension chain or make the existing extension chain longer, but depending on what beads I have in stock, will determine whether or not I can lengthen the actual necklace. All adjustments to length will be done free of charge, but may require an additional day before shipped out. Please notify me of any changes in the length you want done when you are making your purchase.
