This beautiful necklace is wire strung, meaning instead of being strung on string the beads are put on small pieces of metal wire and then the beaded sections are connected together with metal rings. Between each section on this necklace I use two rings making the necklace stronger and giving it a more intricate look. This necklace is 18 inches with a three inch extension chain with a small bead at the end and a lobster style clasp.
Hanging from the center of the necklace is five 3/4 inch round white shell beads with a 1/3 inch round pinkish/purple shell bead with extra small silver seed beads between them. The rest of the necklace is made up of three different types of beaded sections. All of the sections have extra small silver seed beads at each end and small white seed beads on both sides of the larger bead. In the center of the sections is either a flat round pink/purple shell bead, or a clear pink faceted round glass bead or a flat oval clear pink glass bead.
The matching earrings are made with the same beads used in the necklace. At the top of the earring is a XS silver seed bead with a white seed bead below it. Next there is a pinkish/purple shell bead and a flat oval clear pink glass bead on the bottom of the earring. The earring is 1/2 inch wide and 1 1/4 inch long plus the length of the surgical steel fish hook style earring wire (about 3/4 of an inch long).
