The beautiful wire strung gemstone necklace has an amazing picture jasper pendant its center. A wire strung necklace means that instead of being strung of string the beads are strung on small pieces of thick wire into sections and these sections are strung together. To connect these sections I use two metal rings between every connection. This not only makes this necklace stronger but it also gives it a more intricate look. The pendant is 1 3/8 inches wide 2 inches tall and 1/4 of an inch thick. It is attached to the necklace with an 18K white gold plated pinch bail.
The necklace is 19 1/2 inches long, has a 3 inch extension chain with a small black agate bead at its end, and has a lobster style clasp. The other beads used in the necklace are round tigers eye beads, two sizes of round black agate bead and several natural shaped picture jasper beads. Extra small silver seed beads are on each side of all the gemstone beads.
The matching earrings are made with 3 gemstone beads all dangling from each other. On both top and bottom of the earring is a natural shaped picture jasper bead with a round black agate bead in the center. The earrings are about 1/3 of an inch wide 1 1/2 inch long plus the length of the surgical steel fish hook style earring wire (about 3/4 of an inch).
