Blue Shell Necklace and Earrings set with Clear Quartz and Swarovski Crystals

This necklace has two strands in front and one in the back. It is 18 1/2 inches long, has a 3 inch extension chain with a small bead at the end and has a lobster style clasp. It is a wire strung necklace. This means that the beads are put on small pieces of wire and then these sections are connected together by small split rings. I always use two rings per section which adds to the necklaces strength and durability.

The inner strand of the necklace is made with three different beads and one section is made with a clear quartz natural shaped bead with a very small silver seed bead on each side and the other section has a teal glass pearl bead with the same silver seed beads on each side of it. The necklaces outer strand is made with three different sections of beads. One is the same natural shaped clear quartz bead and the silver seed beads on each side. The second section is a oval shaped teal blue mother of pearl shell bead and it also has small silver seed beads on each side of it. The third section has the same silver seed beads at the end of the section with two clear bi-cone crystals and a teal blue cats eye bead in the middle of them. Hanging from the outer strand is four matching beaded sections. These are made with the same teal oval shell beads used before in the necklaces. On top of the shell bead is a clear bi- cone crystal also used in the necklace, a small round teal blue cats eye bead on top of it, and a very small silver seed bead at the very top. The whole hanging section is about 1 1/4 inches long and just over a 1/2 of an inch wide at the bottom.

The matching earrings are made using four different beads all of which were used in the necklace as well. Hanging freely at the bottom of the earring is the teal blue oval shell bead with a silver seed bead on top. Above the shell bead is a clear quartz bead with a silver seed bead atop it, then a small round teal blue cats eye bead with a silver seed bead on top of it. Al of this hangs below the surgical steel fish hook style ear wire. The earrings are 1 3/4 inches long plus the length of the ear wire (about 3/4 of an inch).
