This pretty necklace is 20 inches long and it has a 3 inch extension chain. In the center of the necklace is a teardrop shaped pendant made of Rhodonite. The pendant attaches to the necklace with an 18K white gold plated pinch bail. It is 2 inches tall, 1 1/2 inches wide and about an 1/8 of an inch thick. The back of the pendant is flat so it will lie nicely on your neck.
This is a wire strung necklace, meaning all the bead are strung on small sections of metal wire and then all the sections are connected together. The other beads used to make this necklace are large round pink jade beads, medium round black agate beads, triangle Tibetan silver beads and extra small silver seed beads. Between each of the beaded sections, is a 3/4 inch piece of silver plated chain.
The matching earrings are made with the same beads used in the necklace. The earrings are a simple drop style. They are 1/4 of an inch wide and 1 inch tall plus about 1/2 when you include the length of the surgical steel fish hook style earring wire. Each earring is made with 4 beads. A round pink bead is on the bottom with a silver triangle bead on top of it. Above that is a smaller round black agate bead, with a small silver seed bead at the top.
I almost always make a pair of earrings to match the necklaces I make. I do this for two reasons. First, I hate having a necklace and not being able to find earring to match or vice versa, and secondly because earrings are fairly inexpensive to make so why not include them. I sell the earrings at cost to keep my prices low, but I am open to selling them separately just send me an e-mail to request it.
