This beaded necklace set has a large rectangle Picasso Jasper pendant. The pendant is almost 2 inches tall, 1 1/4 inch wide, and less than a 1/4 inch thick. The back of the pendant is flat so it lies nicely on your neck. The necklace is 20 inches long with a 2 ½ inch extension chain for a longer look.
The rest of the necklace is made by alternating both 8mm round black agate beads with 8mm round Picasso jasper beads. In between every gemstone is a small silver seed bead. These small beads really bring together the 14K plate white gold pendant bail and the silver plate lobster style clasp and extension chain.
The earrings are a simple drop style earring, made with three round beads. The middle bead is an 8mm black agate bead. The other two beads are 8 mm Picasso jasper. The beaded part of the earring is 1 inch long. If you include the length of the surgical steel fish hook style wire post the earring are almost 2 inches long. They are a subtle compliment to the bold pendant on the necklace.
When using real stones, all the beads are naturally slightly different from each other. I check all beads and only use the best ones. I buy beads from all over the world, so I have many bead choices that you can’t find in a craft or bead store. I want to make beautiful and unique pieces that you could never find in a store or could be mass produced.
